Shock-resistant components (or shock absorbers) represent some of the Group’s flagship products. These high-precision assemblies are designed to protect the heart of the movement in mechanical watches. Specifically, they protect the wheel’s delicate pivots from damage in the event of physical shock, for example if the watch is dropped. Acrotec’s extensive experience in the field of index assemblies has led some of the most prestigious watchmaking manufacturers to choose it for the development and realisation of fine adjustments based on a variety of concepts.

These components are available in various dimensions and with a number of different features: the attached spring moves without pushing out the support; absorption sensitive to microshock level; extremely reduced dimensions depending on the model; three-point support for the jewel bearing, ensuring good balance.
